Private Lessons

Interested in private lessons? You have come to the right place! It is important to learn music in an environment that you are comfortable in, and with a teacher that is confident in their methods.

With over nineteen years of education, and over nine years of teaching experience, you are in good hands. Having studied composition and theory at the world's top composition school, years of DCI and WGI background, and countless hours in front of the best ensembles in the world, you are getting the help you need from somebody that you can trust.

Lessons run at $65.00 for a 60 minute lesson or $40.00 for a 30 minute lesson, and are available online or in-person for local students. College students are eligible for a discount if you are actively studying with an accredited university. It is highly recommended that younger composition students (younger than 18 years old) have one lesson every TWO weeks: One week to practice the compositional device of that week's module, and one week to compose a short piece that incorporates that module. However, older students (18+) are welcome to take lessons on a weekly basis if able.

“Brendan is a true gem. While his musical talents are top-notch, it's his ability to connect with students that has made such a profound impact on my son. He took a shy middle schooler who never held drumsticks before and turned him into a confident and enthusiastic percussionist. Brendan is patient, kind, resourceful, and unwavering in his dedication to helping students be their absolute best. "
