The purpose of music composition is to illustrate and convey emotional content. Thus, the use of music in film and storytelling adds emotional value in a way that touches the hearts of the viewers. The aim of all existence is to change our hearts for the better, and music is the most powerful tool I have to offer that change. When I work with music, I am reminded that life is about more than the hustle of making money; it’s about life and love.

 

The end goal of my career is to use my music bring people back to the imaginative innocence of their childhood. The marriage of music and picture is a powerful force that can bring back even the most distant memories. Thus, the musical decisions made in a film or narrative becomes one of the most crucial decision you will make. My commitment throughout my career is to bring the film to life through the power of cinematic music. 

 

At the core of my work is the belief that hard work is what makes creativity and inspired work really happen. This is done by honest and focused work, and making bold statements, all emanating from a deep love for the artform and for the listener. When the listner hears my music, I hope they listen with their hearts, find the relationship that they have to the notes being played. In doing so, the listeners will find not only the bold technical statements being made, but they will feel the true emotional character of the narrative.
